K. Phillip Luke

Phillip was born in Birmingham, Alabama but grew up in Louisville, Mississippi, a small town in the East Central portion of the State. After graduating from Louisville High School in 1984, he attended Mississippi State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honorary Society. Phillip received his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1991. While in law school, he served as the Writing Editor for the Cumberland Law Review and oversaw the process by which new members were selected. Since beginning his practice in September of 1991, Mr. Luke has focused on civil litigation and routinely practices in the areas of commercial transportation, products liability, insurance coverage, insurance defense, general civil litigation and Appellate Practice. He is also a registered mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution. Phillip is married to the former Mary-Lynn Ellis and they have three children, Jordan, Sawyer and Gibson. Phillip is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and boating. He is also a staunch supporter of Mississippi State Athletics.
