Mr. Mudd attended the University of Alabama where he earned a B.S. degree in Economics in 1979. He was a member in good standing of the Alabama Alpha Chapter of Phi Delta Theta Social Fraternity and still serves on the House Corporation and chapter Advisory Board of that organization. He attended the University of Alabama School of Law where he earned a J.D. in 1982. Mr. Mudd is admitted to practice in all Alabama State and Federal Courts. His legal practice covers the broad insurance defense field including, but not limited to, products liability, automobile accidents, commercial transportation accidents, workers’ compensation, fraud and construction defect claims. Mr. Mudd is also registered with the Alabama State Court Mediators Roster.
Mr. Mudd is married to Alison Weir Nichols. He enjoys painting, scuba diving and fly fishing. Mr. Mudd has served the Greater Birmingham Human Society for well over a decade as a Board Member, Board President and Capital Campaign Director.
