Mr. Stanford attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received a B.S. in Economics and Finance in 1993. He later attended the Birmingham School of Law where he earned a J.D. in 1997. He is licensed to practice in all Alabama State and Federal Courts as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Stanford’s practice is focused on civil litigation, insurance defense, issuing insurance coverage opinions, prosecuting and defending insurance coverage actions, workers’ compensation defense, employment law, commercial transportation defense, construction defect defense and small to mid-sized business representation. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Birmingham Bar Association-Treasurer of the Workers’ Compensation Section, Alabama Workers’ Compensation Defense Lawyers’ Association, Alabama Workers’ Compensation Claims Organization, Alabama Defense Lawyers’ Association and Defense Research Institute where he serves on various insurance law and coverage committees. Mr. Stanford enjoys an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale-Hubbell.
